Installation and servicing for restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes and takeaways across London, done before you open or after you close.
Name and number are all we need to arrange a call back and a free survey.
A free site survey comes first, then a fixed written quotation. Larger buildings are priced per device.
Hospitality premises have the hardest mix: a kitchen full of heat and smoke that must not set the alarm off every service, a room full of customers who do not know the building, and often people asleep in the flats above.
We install and service BS 5839-1 fire alarm systems for restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes and takeaways, with the right detectors in the kitchen, music cut-out where you have it, and links to any system serving the flats above. We work before opening or after closing, test the emergency lighting on the same visit and leave the certificates your insurer and the licensing officer ask for.

The wrong detector in a kitchen means the alarm goes off whenever the grill is busy. We fit heat detectors where they belong and smoke detection where it matters.
We work in the morning before you open or after close, so customers never hear a test and you never lose a sitting.
Where music or a PA could drown the alarm, we wire it to cut on alarm and test that on every visit.
Certificates on the day, a complete logbook and emergency lighting records, ready for the licensing officer, the fire service and your insurer.
Kitchens need heat detection, not smoke detection, and the wrong choice is the most common cause of false alarms we see in restaurants. Bars and dining rooms with music need sounders loud enough to be heard over it, or a music cut-out on alarm. Where there are flats above, the fire risk assessment will say how the two parts of the building should warn each other, and we make sure the systems do that.
New systems start from £1,200 + VAT for a small premises, and larger sites are priced per device after a free survey.
We service hospitality systems every six months to BS 5839-1 and test the emergency lighting once a year, usually first thing in the morning. Servicing is from £180 + VAT a visit for a conventional system and £240 + VAT for an addressable system, and the annual emergency lighting test is £150 + VAT on the same visit.
Usually a smoke detector in or near the kitchen. Kitchens should have heat detectors, and smoke detectors near kitchen doors may need moving. We find the cause, change the device and record the change for your fire risk assessment.
Yes. Most of our hospitality visits are first thing in the morning, so the system is tested and certificated before the doors open.
Where the public are in the building in low light, maintained fittings that stay lit all the time are normally needed. We check this on the annual emergency lighting test.
It depends on the building and the fire risk assessment, which should say how the commercial part and the flats warn each other. We survey and make the systems do what the assessment requires.
From £180 + VAT a visit for a conventional system and £240 + VAT for an addressable system, with the certificate on the day. Emergency lighting testing is £150 + VAT on the same visit.
