Servicing that does not depend on you remembering
A fire alarm needs a service every six months under BS 5839-1 and emergency lighting a full test every year under BS 5266-1. A contract simply means we keep the dates, book the visits and send you the certificates, for one building or fifty.
We look after fire alarm systems for businesses, landlords, HMO licence holders, schools, care homes and managing agents across London. Each visit is booked ahead, the certificate is issued on the day, and anything that fails is quoted before any work is done.

What does a fire alarm service contract include?
Two BS 5839-1 fire alarm service visits a year and the annual BS 5266-1 emergency lighting test, each with a certificate and a written record of what was tested, a reminder before each visit, and the logbook kept up to date. Extinguisher and AOV servicing can be added to the same visits.
How much is a fire alarm maintenance contract?
It is priced per visit: from £180 + VAT for a conventional system and £240 + VAT for an addressable system, twice a year. Larger buildings and portfolios are priced after a free survey, with the price per visit agreed in writing.
Is emergency lighting on the same contract?
Yes, as standard. Emergency lighting has its own annual full-duration test under BS 5266-1, from £150 + VAT, and we do it on one of the two fire alarm visits, with its own certificate.
Can you take over from our current contractor?
Yes. We survey the system, report on its condition honestly, and start the schedule from the next visit that is due. We service systems installed by any company.
We manage several blocks. Can the certificates come to us?
Yes. Certificates and test records for every building are sent to the agent by email on the day, and invoices can be per building or per portfolio, whichever suits your accounts.
