Video & Audio Entry for Flats, Blocks and Conversions
Name and number are all we need. We call back within one working day to book a free survey.
Video and audio door entry installed, replaced and serviced across London — from a two-flat conversion to a mansion block with a concierge. We fit smartphone-answering systems, replace obsolete and vandalised panels, and integrate entry with access control and CCTV. Based in SW17, working across Zones 1–3 every day, with Wandsworth and Wimbledon on our doorstep.

Modern video entry rings your handset or your phone — so deliveries, cleaners and trades get let in whether you are upstairs or at work. For landlords, app answering means no more posting keys or waiting in for access.
A lost mechanical key to a communal door means changing the lock and cutting keys for every flat. A lost fob is cancelled in seconds and a new one issued for pounds. That difference is why blocks switch.
Victorian conversions with two flats, mansion blocks with forty, new-builds with a concierge — we install and maintain entry systems across all of them, and we replace the obsolete panels other firms refuse to touch.
Door entry rarely lives alone. We integrate it with access control, CCTV and fire systems — and because we maintain communal fire safety too, the door release logic on escape routes is specified correctly, not guessed.
See who is at the door before you release it. Panels with cameras at the communal entrance, colour monitors or app answering in each flat, and a log of every call. The standard we recommend for most blocks and HMOs.
The classic buzzer-and-handset arrangement, still the right answer where budget leads and sightlines are good. Existing audio systems can usually be upgraded to video panel-by-panel without rewiring the whole riser.
Vandalised, corroded or obsolete entrance panels replaced — often reusing the existing wiring and handsets. This is the most common job we do in central London mansion blocks, where original systems date back decades.
Fob readers on communal doors, bin stores, gyms and car parks — with lost fobs cancelled in seconds and an audit trail for the managing agent. Pairs naturally with the entry panel on the front door.
Video door entry for a single dwelling typically costs £350–£700 installed. A video entry system for a block of up to 10 flats runs £1,200–£2,500, and larger or app-connected systems from £1,500–£3,000. Audio-only systems come in lower. Every job is surveyed first and quoted as a fixed price.
Often the panel alone can be replaced, or a new panel fitted that works with existing handsets. Where wiring is sound we reuse it, which keeps cost and disruption down. If the system is obsolete beyond repair we will say so and quote both options honestly.
Yes. App-connected video entry lets residents answer from anywhere, grant access remotely, and see a log of who called. It suits blocks with short-term lets and landlords who need to give trades access without attending.
Doors on escape routes are configured fail-safe — they release on power loss or fire alarm activation, as fire regulations require. Doors that are not on escape routes can be fail-secure with battery backup. We specify this door by door at survey, in line with the building's fire strategy.

Yes. We repair and maintain most makes — including Paxton, Comelit, Videx, BPT and Urmet — and can take an existing system onto a maintenance contract alongside the block's other fire and security equipment.
