We install BS 5839 Part 6 Grade D, Category LD2 interlinked smoke and heat alarm systems that satisfy the requirements of the HMO Management Regulations 2006. We cover Wandsworth, Merton, Lambeth, Croydon, Sutton, Kingston upon Thames, Wimbledon, Tooting, Balham, Streatham and all 32 London boroughs. Full certification provided on completion.
Yes. Communal fire safety is a large part of our work. We look after the communal fire alarm, AOV smoke ventilation, emergency lighting, CCTV and door entry on one planned maintenance schedule, with a certificate issued after every visit so the compliance file stays audit-ready. Managing agents, freeholders, residents' management companies and commercial landlords get one point of contact for the whole portfolio.

Yes. Security Red Alert is a member of the British Fire Consortium and holds its Fire Alarm Modules 1 and 2, passed with Distinction. We are SSAIB approved for intruder alarms (an accreditation recognised by UK insurers and the police), SafeContractor accredited and members of the Federation of Small Businesses. Our fire alarm work is carried out to BS 5839 and our smoke ventilation work to BS 7346-8, and we issue a completion certificate for every installation. We have over 20 years of continuous trading in the UK fire and security industry.
Our phone line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can always speak to someone. Monitored systems are watched around the clock by our Alarm Receiving Centre. Engineer attendance is during office hours, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00, with priority and out-of-hours attendance arranged for customers on a maintenance contract.
