Installation and servicing for churches, mosques, temples, gurdwaras, synagogues and community halls across London, including listed buildings.
Name and number are all we need to arrange a call back and a free survey.
A free site survey comes first, then a fixed written quotation. Larger buildings are priced per device.
Places of worship are often old, sometimes listed, with high roofs and large open spaces, and they are empty for much of the week. A fire that starts when nobody is there can take hold before anyone notices.
We install and service fire alarm systems for places of worship and their halls, using wireless devices where cabling would damage historic fabric, beam detectors for high roofs, and monitoring so someone is told when the building is empty. We service every six months, test the emergency lighting on the same visit and leave the certificates your insurer and the people who hire your hall will ask for.

Wireless detectors and sounders need no cable runs, so we can protect a listed building without chasing walls or disturbing decoration.
Ordinary detectors do not work well under very high roofs. Beam detectors cover large open spaces from the walls.
Linking the alarm to a monitoring centre means a fire at night or midweek is reported, not just heard by nobody.
Groups that hire your hall, and your insurer, will want to know the fire alarm and emergency lighting are maintained. We leave the certificates on the day.
In listed churches and older buildings, wireless systems are often the right choice: devices are fixed with minimal intervention and there are no cable runs through plaster, stone or panelling. Where wired systems are needed, we plan routes with whoever looks after the building's fabric. New systems start from £1,200 + VAT for a small building, and larger buildings are priced per device after a free survey.
We service the system every six months, timed around services and hall bookings, and test the emergency lighting once a year. Servicing is from £180 + VAT a visit for a conventional system and £240 + VAT for an addressable system, and the annual emergency lighting test is £150 + VAT on the same visit. Wireless systems also get signal strength and device battery checks on each visit.
Usually, yes. Wireless devices need no cabling and are fixed with minimal intervention. We plan positions with whoever looks after the building and keep visible equipment discreet.
With optical beam detectors mounted on the walls, which watch the whole space for smoke. They suit naves, halls and other large open spaces where ceiling detectors would be too high to work well.
An alarm that nobody hears does little. Linking it to a monitoring centre means someone is contacted when it goes off, day or night.
If it is used in the evening or has escape routes without daylight, usually yes, particularly when it is hired out. We test what is there and advise on any gaps.
From £180 + VAT a visit for a conventional system and £240 + VAT for an addressable system, with the certificate on the day. Emergency lighting testing is £150 + VAT on the same visit.
