Fire alarms we service in Hammersmith and Fulham

Hammersmith and Fulham has office buildings around Hammersmith Broadway and White City, shops and pubs along King Street, Fulham Road and Fulham Broadway, and long streets of converted terraces and mansion blocks. Offices often share one fire alarm between several tenants, which means somebody has to own the servicing and everybody needs the certificate. We service the whole system, send the certificate to the landlord or managing agent and copy in each tenant who needs it.

    Frequently asked questions

How much does fire alarm servicing cost in Hammersmith and Fulham?

From £180 + VAT a visit for a conventional system and £240 + VAT for an addressable system, with the certificate issued on the day. If you have emergency lighting, its annual test is £150 + VAT on the same visit. Larger buildings are priced after a free survey.

How often does a fire alarm need servicing?

BS 5839-1 recommends a service at least every six months for commercial systems and the common parts of blocks of flats. For BS 5839-6 systems in HMOs and rented homes an annual check is the usual expectation, and Grade A panel systems follow the six-monthly pattern.

Do you service fire alarms installed by other companies?

Yes. Most of the systems we service were installed by someone else. We test what is there, report its condition honestly and take it onto our schedule. Nothing that works needs replacing.

What do we get after the visit?

A signed certificate, a written record of what was tested, the logbook brought up to date, and a list of anything that failed with a fixed price to put it right. Nothing is repaired without your say-so.

We share an office building in Hammersmith. Who is responsible for the fire alarm?

Usually the landlord or managing agent for the common system, with each tenant responsible for their own area under their lease. We can service the whole system on one visit and send the certificate to everyone who needs it, so nobody is left without proof.
