A panel on the wall is not the same as protection. Protected means the system works, the emergency lighting comes on, the certificates are current and somebody is watching the dates.
Name and number are all we need to arrange a call back and a free survey.
A free site survey comes first, then a fixed written quotation. Larger buildings are priced per device.
Does the fire alarm actually work, on every circuit and device? Would the emergency lighting come on and stay on long enough to empty the building? Are the certificates current and on file? And does anyone know when the next service is due? If any answer is no or not sure, the building is less protected than it looks.
We check all four in one free survey visit. The engineer reads the panel and its event log, looks at the detectors, call points and sounders, checks the emergency lighting and the paperwork, and tells you plainly where you stand: what is fine, what needs attention and what it costs to put right, as a fixed written price. The law requires fire safety systems to be maintained in working order, and the quickest way to know whether yours are is to have them looked at properly.

The check costs nothing and takes under an hour in most buildings. You get a straight written answer.
We tell you what is fine as readily as what is not. The quote is fixed and the decision is yours.
Fire alarm, emergency lighting and the paperwork, checked together by one engineer.
Six-monthly servicing with certificates on the day and a reminder before each visit is due.
A protected building has a current fire risk assessment, a fire alarm serviced within the last six months to BS 5839-1, an emergency lighting system with its annual BS 5266-1 test certificate, and a logbook of weekly tests. That is the file an inspector, a licensing officer or an insurer expects to open.
Most buildings we survey are not starting from nothing: they have a system that needs a service, a few devices in the wrong place, or paperwork that has drifted. Those are quick, inexpensive things to put right compared with finding out after an incident.
Protection is wider than the fire alarm. We also install and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and door entry, so one company can look after the building's safety and security together. The survey covers whatever you want looked at.
An engineer visits, checks the fire alarm, emergency lighting and certificates, and gives you a written summary with fixed prices for anything needed. It usually takes under an hour and there is no obligation.
Only if it works and is maintained. The Fire Safety Order requires systems to be kept in efficient working order, so an unserviced alarm can leave a business in breach even though a panel is on the wall.
Small faults are often fixed on the first visit. Anything larger gets a fixed written price first, and servicing can usually be booked within days.
Yes, if you want it looked at: CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and door entry, surveyed on the same visit.
Yes. The survey and the written summary cost nothing, and the prices quoted are fixed. You decide what, if anything, to go ahead with.
Tell us about the building and we will call you back to book a free, no-obligation survey. You get a fixed written quote after every visit.
